UK Internet Governance Forum Meeting 2025
Building Digital Governance Together
This year’s UK IGF followed the same overall theme as the global IGF which took place in Lillestrøm, Norway in June 2025: “Building Digital Governance Together”. Elaborating on responses to the Call for Issues and input from the UK IGF Multistakeholder Steering Committee, this year’s event included:
- Panel sessions on digital ID and children’s rights online in 2025
- An interactive workshop on AI Ethics
- A lightning talk on power asymmetries in Tech
- An interactive session on digital fragmentation from a user perspective
- An update on progress of the 20-year review of the UN World Summit on the Information Society, and what comes next
The event took place on Thursday 11th December in London. We thank everyone for their interest in UK IGF.
